Post 682: Better Than A Poke In The Eye. But Not By Much.
This has been a long, long , LOOOOOOOOONG month for me and I am extremely glad it's almost over. You have no idea.

Chris over at My 2 Cents tagged me with this meme. Now, you all know that I seldom meme, having not the patience nor the work ethic to do all that linky, cut and paste stuff. But I like Chris and he's my neighbor in a We Both Live In A Large City kind of way, so I shall do this meme, although I will not commit to enjoying it. And you can't make me.

1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1) What was I doing 10 yrs ago?
I was having a nervous breakdown, thus precipitating my move from Portsmouth, NH to Portland, ME, although I'm not sure why I bothered, since I just crouched in my hovel for five years. I could have done that anywhere.

2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order):
Scrounge enough change to get a roll of toilet paper and some juice.CHECK
Clean out vacuum and vacuum all the rugs.CHECK
Do the goddamned dishes and clean the counters.CHECK
Clean poop out of kitty litter.CHECK *SHUDDER*
Take the pictures down from the hall and place them on the bookcase. But DUST FIRST. CHECKITY CHECK

3) Snacks I enjoy: Dude. I like nachos, I like cheese dip, I like chips of any persuasion, I like many kinds of dip, and sometimes carrots, but only with the aforementioned dip.

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: I would pay off my debt, my brother's debt and my parents' debt. I would set up trusts for my six nieces and two nephews, so they would have money for, say, their first deposit, or the downpayment on a car or house. I would also do this for my best friend. And some of my other friends.
Then I would buy myself a condo in the city of Seattle, and spend the rest of my life being a philanthropist.

5) Three of my bad habits:Well, I don't do the dishes often enough. I am lazy. And I am a world class procrastinator. I also swear like a sailor.

6) 5 places I have lived: Goldsboro, NC, Salem, OR, Anchorage, AK, Portland, ME and Vienna, VA.

7) 5 jobs I have had: I have sold everything except real estate and human flesh. I've also been a barista, a pasta maker, a waitress, a cashier and the counter girl in a Chinese restaurant.

8) 5 bloggers that I wanna know more about: Alright, damnit, line up and get your comeuppance.

1)Sizzle of Sizzle says (You knew that was coming, didn't ya?)
2)Tiff of No Accent Yet(She gets weepy when she feels left out.)
3)Miss Britt of Miss Britt(I am intensely curious)
4)Rich of Championable (Don't give me any excuses, you bastard)
5)Julie of Fresh And Sassy (Hi JULES)

God, that was exhausting. I must go and recover.
